The Hometown Church You Are Looking For
Are you tired of the disrespect, harsh words and intolerance that dominate our public discourse? Are you ready for something different, something uplifting, something that is encouraging and life-changing? If so, welcome to the Aura Church.
Hello! I’m Rev. Dr. Walter Jesuncosky III, pastor of the Aura Church, and I want to encourage you as you look for a positive alternative that will make a difference in your life. By the way, Aura is not a mega-church or a perfect church. Jesus ministry wasn’t about numbers and he didn’t call us to be perfect—but to be faithful as we humbly follow him and strive to live by his word. If you are serious about a new beginning, I invite you to attend the Aura Church—more importantly, to begin or to renew your journey toward hope and healing. When you do, I hope you will find a body of believers who have a great respect for God’s Word and who are open to the loving and life-changing power of God. One of our primary goals every Sunday is to understand the Bible as it was originally intended so that we can apply it to our daily lives and grow personally and in our witness to the world. Maybe the Aura Church is the hometown church you are looking for! I want to personally invite you discover the best alternative ever! Share with us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. Our worship style is traditional, dress is casual, children are welcome, a bright clean nursery is optional and there is ample parking.
How We Share Our Gifts
Due to the loss of dear loved ones, attendance at the Aura Church steadily declined and community outreach declined to an alarming level. Yet the current members refuse to give up on their belief that God has a glorious future for Aura that is even greater than the glories of the past. Join with us as we rediscover a new vision authentic, intentional and Christ-centered ministry here in the heart of South Jersey.
What To Expect
Thank you for taking time to search for a church in our area. When you attend church at Aura, I hope that you will experience the loving and powerful presence of God in our midst and that you will sense the joy and enthusiasm that we share as we worship together. The traditional format compliments our emphasis on the authority of the scriptures and our effort to convey it’s meaning as originally intended by its God inspired authors. Messages are always biblically based, relevant to the issues we face in contemporary culture and applicable to the daily challenges of our lives. Children are always welcome through the entire worship time. Every week we make available coloring books with biblical themes and crayons for our children and offer a special “Kid’s Time” to share the love of Jesus at their level and to tangibly involve them in worship. An optional nursery is available if a parent wishes to take a break with their child. Parking is conveniently located at the south side of the main church sanctuary; members and guests use both the front and side entrances.
