Aura may be “The Home Church You Have Been Looking For!” Hello, I am Dr. Jeff and I want to invite you join us as we explore the powerful truths of the Bible and apply them to our lives. Archeological findings confirm that Pontius Pilate was the governor of Judea during Jesus’ three-year earthly ministry. Plotting against Jesus, the religious leaders arrested Jesus and sent him to Pilate hoping that he would dispatch Jesus without incurring any blame on their part. Pilate knew the charges against Jesus were baseless and, under Roman authority, he had the power to set Jesus free. Instead, Pilate chose to hand Jesus over to the will of an angry mob. Since we are often faced with important, sometimes life-changing decisions, in Sunday’s message I will take a closer look at Pilate’s decision. Our decisions can bring us blessings and honor God or they can bring us great frustration and often may lead to years of pain and regret. Join with me on Sunday as we learn from Pilate’s experience and lift three important biblical tools that will bring us wisdom, clarity and success during key decision points in our lives.
