Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It was great to see so many of our members out on such a beautiful and crisp day as today was. For those of you who were not able to join us, we missed you and remember you in our prayers. Since we find ourselves in the middle of winter, today’s message focused on snow as it is metaphorically used in the Bible to symbolize God’s power and God’s love. Our bottom line reminder is that when we continually come before the Lord in prayer, especially during difficult times, His power and love will guide and sustain us. With the social policies and reversals that are beginning to take place, many of them overtly anti-Christian and contrary to God’s commands, our prayers will continue to be an anchor that supplies us with strength, good cheer and guidance during days such as these.
Reflecting on the above, it is no wonder to me that the joy we feel as we worship, receive God’s Word and fellowship together each Sunday is a great encouragement as we face the challenges of life and prepare for our new week. Whether you are near or far away, we appreciate your prayers and look forward to seeing you as soon as God’s perfect will allows. In the meantime, be blessed and be a blessing, Pastor Jeff
