Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes while Sandy has been under self-quarantine. Currently Sandy is free from all symptoms, I tested negative for the corona virus and we are planning to resume public worship on Sunday December 13. Please do not attend services if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have health concerns and want to insure that you are not exposed. According to current NJ Covid guidelines indoor worship services may be conducted but congregants are urged to wear a mask, wash hands, practice social distancing, and to stay home if sick. Face coverings are required in indoor public spaces and in outdoor public spaces when social distancing is difficult to maintain.
On another note: Regarding poinsettias, our plan is to adorn the sanctuary with poinsettias on Sunday December 20. If you would like to place an order, the price will be $14.50. The price is higher this year because nurseries are having issues due to a decline in orders in this new era of Covid-19. Email (jbus@lorien.cc) with your order. Let me know how many you want and to whom they will be dedicated.
Sunday’s message counters the argument that Jesus was only a good man and a gifted teacher and reminds us of one of the central tenets of the Christian faith—God himself came into our world to show us the way, the truth and the path to abundant life.
