Message Summary:
Belief in evolution is deeply rooted in Western culture, especially in contrast to the revealed truth of God’s Word. Two pillars of the evolutionary worldview have reshaped how many people understand themselves and the world around them—First, that matter always existed and second, that life was formed by random chance processes. Proponents argue that evolution is based on facts and Christianity is not. In actuality, evolution is a theory of origins based on the interpretation of the evidence that scientific methodology helped us to compile. Christians who believe in God look at the same evidence and propose an entirely different interpretation. Today’s message will show how Genesis, the very first book in the Bible, provides the framework for the entire Christian worldview and shows why Christianity is an interpretation of the empirical evidence found in the natural world that makes the most sense.
