Message Summary:
In a rapidly changing culture, it is not surprising that the number of persons treated for anxiety is on the rise. On an average, 40 million adults are treated for various anxiety-related disorders every year. Even more alarming, in the last decade there has been a 17% increase in children and youth who are suffering with anxiety. Many who struggle with the recurrent fears, intrusive thoughts and physical illness caused by anxiety wish for a miracle cure. Sunday’s message isn’t about a medical cure yet it will point us to a little noticed but powerful source of hope and healing—The woman who anointed Jesus’ feet. Join with me as we discover the importance of gratitude and the role that it plays in drawing us closer to God, combating anxiety and improving our overall sense joy.
