John 12:12-19 “Reactions to the Coming King”
- Those who oppose Jesus can be just as defensive as the Pharisees, the religious leaders, who thought Jesus and his followers were nothing but trouble.
- Those people who were part of the crowd…they had seen a miracle or were hoping to see one. They were caught up in the moment and shouted “hosanna” as loud as anyone. Some of them would shout “crucify him” in a few days.
- Then we have the disciples. The King is coming! DUH! They didn’t get it.
