“Five Characteristics of a Christian Voter”
- The Christian voter recognizes that God ordains leadership. Romans 13:1-7 – “…For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God…”
- The Christian voter gets involved! James 1:21-22 – “…but be doers of the word, and not hearers only…”
- The Christian voter votes! Deuteronomy 17:14-20 – “you may indeed set over you a king whom the Lord your God will choose. V.15.
- The Christian voter understands true freedom! John 8:31-32 – Jesus said “If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- The Christian voter keeps the real goal in focus!
Matthew 28:19 –Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and low I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
