“… Jesus Wants Me for a Snowflake”

1 Corinthians 12:4-13                  

Points from today’s message “Let It Snow, Part 2 or Jesus Wants Me for a Snowflake”

What do we know about snowflakes…

  1. They are unique. No two are alike
  2. Snowflakes often exhibits six-fold radial symmetry.
  3. They vary in size and shape
  4. When you get enough of them together you have a snowfall, even a blizzard.

What we know about the gifts…

  1. Everyone has a gift.
  2. Your gift is unique to you, to be used by you for the good of the body.
  3. We need the different parts of the body to function properly,

1 Corinthians 12:14-17

  1. You put the gifts together and you have a well-functioning body of Christ. Like putting snowflakes together can be formidable, so to, the Church is pretty formidable when the members use their gifts to create a strong, functioning body.
  2. The gifts come from God. And so does the snow.
