“Around to It”

3rd Sunday after Epiphany  January 26, 2025

SCRIPTURE LESSON:                              2 Timothy 4:1-22

FROM TODAY’S MESSAGE: “AROUND TO IT.”

2 Timothy 4:1-22

  1. Today we are looking at the final recorded words of the Apostle Paul…

in Verse 9. Be diligent to come to me quickly;

Verse 21. Do your utmost to come before winter.

  1. Some things must be done “before winter” or they will not be done at all.

James 4:13-14 says, 13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a town and spend a year there, doing business and making money.” 14 Yet you do not even know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Our lives go by so quickly.

2 Timothy 4:6-8.

III. Some people have waited too long.

  1. We are guilty of letting unimportant things cause us to miss the important things.
  2. Winter is here. Were there things you should have done before it arrived?

Whatever it is, “Come before winter.” Do it now. Tomorrow may never come. Get A ROUND TUIT!
