Topic: Promises of God
Scripture: Exodus 12:37-42
Message Summary
Moses had an impossible task—To meet the daily needs of the 2.5 million men, women and children who fled into the desert to escape from the Egyptians. Despite his charisma and leadership ability, providing for so many was, to say the least, an impossible task. Yet it wasn’t Moses who met needs of the vulnerable and fearful Israelites, it was God. The people survived the challenges of desert living, not because Moses’ will power or strength of character, but because he trusted in the promises of God. In life we will face many challenges that may appear impossible to overcome. We may carry a burden of heavy responsibility, we may not know what trials are over the horizon yet, God calls us to trust in his promises. Join with me today as we look to Moses for strength and seek for the inner peace that he found as we face the trials and challenges living in a fallen world.
