Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Especially in these uncertain times, Sandy and I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We understand the challenges of these times—what will Thanksgiving look like, will there be a 2nd wave lock down, how about vaccines? Yet, in the midst of these challenging questions we as Christians still give thanks because we find our strength and direction in God and his promises. Our strength is bolstered by our worship together and as we serve others in the name of Jesus. These same truths were affirmed by the Apostle Paul as he wrote from a prison cell to the band of Christians in Colossae, not sure if he would live or die. As we remembered Paul’s words today, we also thanked God for the faith of those who have gone before us and prayed for the strength to continue bringing the light of Christ into our world until Jesus comes again. Attached you will find the full text of today’s message. Please let me know if you have any prayer requests. Be blessed and be a blessing. Pastor Jeff
