2 Timothy 4:1-2, 6-8
Aura may be “The Home Church You Have Been Looking For!” Hello, I am Dr. J and I want to invite you join us as we explore the powerful truths of the Bible and apply them to our lives. Two letters in the New Testament are addressed to Timothy, a young man who deeply loved God. Like his mentor the Apostle Paul, Timothy faced many obstacles as he served others and shared the hope of Jesus. Looking ahead to the glory of Christ’s future appearing and to the ultimate victory of good over evil, Paul wrote to Timothy and urged him to remain focused on his mission and to give thanks for the reward that he will soon claim. Many of us are surprised that Thanksgiving is over, that Christmas is rapidly approaching and that a new year, with all of its surprises and challenges, is just around the corner. As we look ahead, I hope the generations that come after us will recognize our effort to remain faithful and true, despite many difficulties, and say of us, they fought the good fight and ran the race that God marked out for them. Join us Sunday at 9:30am as we explore the key role that faith plays in helping us to find victory beyond the difficult challenges of life. Our worship is traditional and informal, messages are grounded in God’s Word and relate to our daily lives and children are always welcome.
